OLYMPIC GAMES QUIZ

Hello everyone!! Once again, I'm going to show you the last work of ICT's class, and as always, I want to explain you how I did it:

 First of all, we sat in pairs and chose a topic to do some questions and write down their answers. The topic chose Idoia and I was about The Olympic games; because we thought that it would be interesting to know a bit about it. We totally wrote twenty questions and we copy them in the Hot Potatoes program. We added some pictures to the questions and we wrote four options for the answers (a,b,c and d) from which only one was correct.

ENDANGERED ANIMALS

Hello everyone! We have just finished the second work of the 3rd term. At this time, for the work that our tutor has proposed, we had to use Mind42; which is a programme to make diagrams, adding pics, texts, etc.   We did an account on that programme and we had to choose any topic we wanted. 

I choosed the topic of endangered animals, because I think that people often forgets that many species are disappearing all over the world, I think that we have to be conscious that we are not the only creatures in the world and we have to control those factors that make animals die. The majority of those species are endangered because of human pollution, hunting, etc. 

In my diagram I have put the main causes of the death of the animals, and I have chosen some species. I haven't chose the most important or the most endangered species, beacause they are a lot and I just have put    some example. I also have included some pictures of the animals and of what they suffer.

WE FOUND LOVE

Hello readers! At this time we have done a very interesting and useful work.

The project consisted on choosing a music video in English and translate it into different languages; minimum two, English and Basque or Spanish. For that, we had made an account on a program called Dotsub and we studied how to use it. We could do this work in pairs or individually and Idoia Eceiza and I decided to make the work in pairs.

I think this project has been very useful because in my case, I didn't know any program to translate videos and now, I can use it whenever I want and without problems. Although it has been a work, we have enjoyed it because the video music was chosen by us and we like it a lot.

The song and the video we chase was called "We found love", maybe you know this song because Rihanna, the singer it is famous all around the world. The song is from Rihanna but is featured with Calvin Harris. We have chosen the video and the song because its meaning is very nice and the video is perfect.  We translated the video in 6 languages; Spanish, English, Basque, Italian, Japanese and Arabic.

As I said, Rihanna is very famous all around the world. This singer was born in 1988 in Barbados, but now she lives in USA. Her music styles are pop, dance, dubstep, dancehall, reggae, rhythm and blues & soul and she has collaborated with many other famous singers such as Kanye West, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, etc. Her discography history is very big, but my favorite songs of Rihanna are Umbrella, Man down, I love the way you lie, Te amo, Cheers and You da one.

HUMAN RIGHTS

Hi readers! I want to show you the last work we did in class. The work consisted on doing a poster with a programme called Glogster. The poster's topic had to be about humans rights, womens rights or children rights. We did the work in pairs and my partner was Idoia Eceiza. We chase the human rights as topic and we started to read and find different information about it (pictures, etc.).

SECOND TERM

Hello once more! We are finishing the second term and I want to explain you the works that we have been doing along this three months. First, we did a presentation about all the works that we had done in the first term, we made it in a programe called SlideShare, where we learnt how to add audio to a pictures presentation. (You can see the SlideShare presentation that I did with Idoia Eceiza in my previous post)

After that, we started to use Google Sites to create a webpage of our imaginary commerce. We learnt (and we are still learning) how to edit our site changing the colours, backgrounds, etc. On that webpages, we wrote the location of our shop, the products that we sell and many other things. After finishing the webpage, we did a Basque version of it and we connected the two webpages by creating another page which had the link to both.

Hello everybody! In the first term we have done many different works and our tutor Ana has sent us the work to do a slide presentation to summarize all the works of the term. We did the presentation in a programme called SlideShare where the slides are accompanied with an audio of the explanation.

Nobel Peace Prize in 2001

Hi everybody! Here I am again to speak you about more interesting things. This time, our teacher has given us the work to write an article. But the article won't be about any subject, first, we have collected the information in pairs about the Nobel prizes given the latest 12 years and every pair had a year to write about, organized in different groups concerning to the theme (Physics, chemistry, literature, peace, economics and physiology and medicine). Then, we have investigated the persons that interest us the most  and we have chosen one. Here you have the document where we have been collecting all the information.
